FF#24: Gorilla (Anthony Browne, 1983).
Time for a proper classic, this right up there alongside The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Gruffalo and Green Eggs & Ham as a must-have read . . . .
The B&G both love Gorilla as much as the aforementioned favourites - although the part that sees Hannah awaken to find the enormous ape towering over her bed always makes The G squeal rather.
"I don't like that!" she exclaimed during a recent rendition and fled to her bedroom.
It didn't stop her requesting Gorilla again the following night, however . . . .
Well I am ashamed to say I have never heard of this book. It looks good though.
